The geometric shapes depict the rhythm of an imaginary and stylised cityscape.<br></div><div><br></div><div> </div><div>The repeat pattern was screen-printed in three colours on wool. The colours were produced using foraged fruits such as elderberries and plant extract such as logwood for the lilac colour, coreopsis extract for yellow and a mixture of chlorophyll, indigo, weld and buckhorn extracts for the lime green.</div><div><br></div><div>The photos show the final printed repeat pattern design and the different printing stages. After all the layers were printed, the fabric design was steamed and washed. </div><div><br></div><div>In this example we notice the final colours obtained are more vivid and contrasted than in their printed stage. </div></div></div>
