Normal (NBH) and infected (IBH) brain homogenates digested at 65°C for 1 h with 10, 50 and 100 µg/ml of proteinase K (lanes 2, 3, 4 and lanes 6, 7, 8 respectively) and EF+BS formulation [1∶50, 1∶100 and 1∶200 dilutions or 0.4, 0.1 and 0.05 µg/ml of EF and 75 µg/ml rhamnose equivalent (BS)] (lanes 9, 10, 11, 12) probed with SAF83 monoclonal antibody. Lanes 1 and 5 are undigested NBH and IBH controls, respectively.
