A new smart home adaptation questionnaire part1.pdf
Smart home technology is emerging rapidly as an exciting new paradigm. Smart homes have the potential to improve home comfort, convenience, security and energy management. Moreover, it can be used for elderly people and those with disabilities, providing safe and secure environments. GOODIES (GrOup On Development of Intelligent EnvironmentS) is a research group of Middlesex University that is trying to advance this type of technology innovation. We are innovating by developing a personalised intelligent home system that can provide the resident home automation facilities as soon as the resident starts living in the new house. The smart home can provide home automation services from the start instead of aggregating, analysing and processing data which usually take several weeks. This is initial questionnaire which will ask the audience.
