An expert in investigating and implementing technology in a heritage environment, rights management, documentation and standards, Sian has worked in Museums for over 20 years. Following her Masters Degree in Museum Studies, her roles have included Documentation Assistant at both the Museum of London and the National Army Museum, IT Officer and Cataloguer (Collections) at the British Postal Museum and Archive in London, Assistant Curator for North Hertfordshire Museums Service, Curator of Letchworth Museum, and Heritage Access Officer for North Herts Museum. As Collections Manager at the Museum of Domestic Design & Architecture, Sian manages the museum’s collections via the museum database, CI+ for the purposes of teaching and research, both in the MoDA Study Room and via online and digital media.
